What is Aircare Access® Assistance?

Aircare Access® Assistance is a service for corporate flight departments that provides 24/7/365 tele-medical emergency support wherever they are. Aircare Access® Assistance also includes a host of ancillary services that clients can use every day such as flight tracking, destination security reports and updates, concierge services, lost luggage and documentation support, remote prescription replacements and more.

When I call the UrgentACCESS® hotline, who am I talking to?

Aircare Access® Assistance is a service specifically for corporate aviation. When you call a the UrgentACCESS hotline you will be talking with emergency dispatchers specifically trained for corporate aviation in-flight emergencies who will assess your situation and if needed connect you immediately to an board certified emergency physician. The dispatcher never leaves the call and will continue to track the flight and make other preparations to support the crew during the emergency.

I understand that you provide more than just emergency tele-medical support, but do I have to pay for these extra services?

No. Destination security reports, concierge services, documentation support, medical consultations, emergency medical training, and medical kit management are included with your Aircare Access® subscription.

Why are you less expensive than other services?

While other companies service a multitude of industries such as commercial maritime, commercial aviation, and public boating, Aircare Access® Assistance is dedicated and focused only on corporate aviation. This means that we don't have the extra overhead and marketing costs required by others and our pricing reflects this.

Does the Aircare Access® Assistance subscription include training?

An annual subscription for Aircare Access® Assistance includes InFlight Emergency Medical and Defibrillator Training for your entire flight department at any of our regularly scheduled Aircare FACTS® Training classes across the US or at your facility. As a subscriber, you may also be entitled to discounts for other Aircare FACTS® Training courses. Contact a representative to find out.

Can you explain 'Medical Kit Management'?

Medical kit management services are part of Aircare Access® membership. For medical kits, we monitor each individual component of the kit to ensure that all the contents are current. For items coming due, we provide automatic notification and order fulfillment. An itemized list is provided and any items replaced are billed to the flight department 'at cost'. Aircare Access® Assistance also provides medical program direction for prescriptions such as EpiPens and AEDS. Some flight departments ask use to survey their existing emergency, safety and medical equipment and make recommendations. We provide this service at no charge to our subscribers.
