News Worthy Mobile Helicopter Emergency Procedures Simulator Monday, April 22, 2002 FACTS® Training now offers a new emergency and evacuation-training program for rotary aircraft crews and frequent flyers. After nearly a year of design, construction and program development, the new, mobile, full-motion, HeliFACTS® simulator is on the road! The new helicopter crew training program provides the most realistic, safe training environment possible to prepare crews for inflight emergencies and survival. This new simulator is one-of-a-kind. The full size cockpit and cabin interior can be quickly changed to a variety of configurations, including executive, industrial, and EMS interiors for patient evacuation training. The one-day HeliFACTS training program includes inflight emergencies, evacuations, submerged/inverted water evacuation from one of the newly designed portable Dunker trainers, emergency equipment and breathing apparatus use, and survival skills. As part of the FACTS/AirCare family of companies, Inflight Emergency Medical and Defibrillation training may be added to the programs, upon request. The HeliFACTS programs are scheduled across the U.S. and Canada. Additionally, with the mobile design, the complete HeliFACTS simulator and training programs can easily be brought to flight departments for on-site training.
