AirCare MPD™ AirCare MPD™ Medical Program Direction for the flight department's medical program is an essential part of good management. The MPD program provides the services of Dr. Brad Waite, D.O., an FAA Senior Aviation Medical Examiner as a consultant for your flight department. As an ACCESS subscriber, the flight crew is welcome to consult with Dr. Waite in "fit for flight" questions. Furthermore, defibrillators are F.D.A. classified as class III medical devices, which requires purchase to be authorized by a physician, and the AEDs use must be under the guidelines approved by medical direction and control. Under annual contract with AirCare, our experienced Medical Program Director (MPD) will authorize your AED purchase, oversee and verify the training program, monitor and provide event review and written reports on any uses of the AED(s). |
